Movement Sensitivity Study
ABOUT THIS STUDY
We are interested in how your spinal pain disorder impacts your ability to exercise and participate in normal daily activities.
WHAT IS INVOLVED
The Recover Movement Sensitivity study involves completing a short phone interview and some questionnaires, a two hour testing session (conducted at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital), and a follow up phone interview and questionnaire after a period of six months.
- Aged 18-65
- Have a spinal pain disorder (Whiplash injury, neck pain OR low back pain)
- Have no spinal pain, but would like to help
YOU WILL RECEIVE
You will be able to choose one of the below gift options (valued at around $50) for attending the testing session at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Parking tickets or taxi vouchers are also available to cover travel costs associated with the testing session.
The Recover Movement Sensitivity study has been reviewed and approved by the University of Queensland Research Ethics Committee (approval number: 2016001408) and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee (Reference number: HREC/16/QRBW/320).
